Triumph's Elite Class: Where Jersey’s Best Wrestlers Train

At Triumph Wrestling, the intensity of training reaches new heights with their “Elite Class” practice, an invite-only session that brings together the state’s best wrestlers. Known for its exclusivity and high level of competition, the Elite Class gathers a group of athletes who are not only among the top performers in New Jersey but also in the nation. Nearly everyone in this room has stood on the podium at a state tournament, with many securing prestigious titles like State Runner-Up and even State Champions.

The Elite Class is a gathering of Jersey’s best, pushing one another to refine their skills and perfect their technique. Wrestlers in this class are committed to reaching the pinnacle of high school wrestling, and it’s clear from the names that fill the room. These athletes not only have the talent to compete at the highest level, but they also have the mindset and determination to succeed.

A Look at the Wrestlers Who Make Up the Elite Class

Some of the biggest names in New Jersey wrestling can be found in the Elite Class at Triumph, all training together under the same roof. Among them are Jordan Chapman and Anthony Mason, both State Runner-Ups, who bring a wealth of experience and skill to the room. They’ve been on the biggest stages and know what it takes to make it to the top.

Others, such as Killian Coluccio and Paul Kenny, also bring their impressive state tournament experience, with Coluccio finishing 3rd and Kenny taking 3rd as well. Both are widely regarded as among the best in their weight classes. In addition, Kevin Ruland, who placed 8th at the state level, rounds out a group of highly accomplished athletes who constantly strive for excellence.

The Elite Class also includes athletes who are destined for even greater things, such as Noah Michaels, a state placer and Rider University commit, and Alex Reyes, another state placer, who brings unmatched technique and focus to every practice. Wrestlers like Josiah Sweeney, Joey DeAngelo, Zach Reilly, James Farina, Michael DiBiase, and Ethan Michaels round out the roster, showcasing a blend of past accomplishments and future potential.

What sets the Elite Class apart is the commitment to excellence that each athlete brings. The atmosphere is one of mutual respect, where every wrestler challenges one another to improve. It’s not just about learning new techniques but about pushing limits, developing mental toughness, and preparing for the toughest competitions in the state and beyond.

The training is grueling and focused, with coaches emphasizing technique, conditioning, and mental preparedness. These athletes aren’t just training for high school wrestling—they’re preparing for college, nationals, and the next level of competition. The high level of skill in the room forces each wrestler to adapt quickly, learn from their peers, and always strive for perfection.

The Road to Success

The athletes in the Elite Class know what it takes to succeed. They’ve already made their mark on New Jersey wrestling and continue to push for greatness. With top-tier coaching, competition, and training partners, the Elite Class at Triumph is shaping the future of high school wrestling in the state.

This invitation-only practice is more than just a place for elite-level training. It’s a chance for these young wrestlers to continue building their legacies, surrounded by other high-caliber athletes who push each other to be better every day. As they continue to rise through the ranks, one thing is clear: the Elite Class at Triumph is shaping the next generation of champions.
