Jackson Memorial and Trenton Central Shine at Girls Region 3 Tournament
The Girls Region 3 Tournament delivered high-energy matchups and dominant performances as wrestlers battled for regional supremacy. Jackson Memorial and Trenton Central showcased their talent, each producing multiple champions and podium finishers in an event filled with thrilling moments.
Jackson Memorial’s Madison Rucci, Ava Bonilla, Jada Figueroa, Briana Dugo, and Marlowe Donato all secured spots in the finals, with Rucci, Figueroa, and Dugo bringing home titles. Meanwhile, Trenton Central’s Princessstorm Woody, Eudora Pamphile, and Noelsymar Estrada put on impressive displays, solidifying their place among the region’s elite.

Madison Rucci (100) got things started for Jackson Memorial with a dominant major decision over Nola Allen (Marlboro), winning 16-2. Princessstorm Woody (107) kept her undefeated record intact by pinning Ava Bonilla (Jackson Memorial) in just 1:42. At 114, Howell’s Kylie Gudewitz maintained her perfect season with an 11-0 major decision over Madison Blumenthal (Bordentown Regional/Florence Township).
Jada Figueroa (120) picked up a hard-fought 6-2 decision over Aman Cheema (Monroe Township), while Briana Dugo (126) showcased her technical skills with an 18-3 technical fall win over Cristy Mejia (Robbinsville). At 132, Eudora Pamphile (Trenton Central) edged out Sophie Babineau (Manalapan) in a tightly contested 7-5 decision.
Gabrielle Roberts (138) delivered a statement victory, pinning Dominique Lopez (Jackson Memorial) in 2:55. At 145, Rosabella Kearns (Freehold Township) needed just 1:42 to pin Charlize Schlam (Point Pleasant Boro). Thea Rowland (152) made quick work of Brigid Hatton (Raritan), earning a fall in just 27 seconds.
Emily Breen (165) continued her dominance, pinning Ella Johnson (Hamilton East-Steinert) in 2:16. Daniela Palacios (185) followed up with a thrilling late-match fall over Tanvi Madisetti (Lawrence Senior) in 5:58. The tournament wrapped up with Howell’s Giavonna Farrell-Byers (235) securing a regional title after pinning Rahkai Degrasse (North Brunswick Township) in 4:00.
Looking Ahead
With their victories, these wrestlers will now turn their focus to the state tournament, where they’ll face the best competitors from across New Jersey. Jackson Memorial’s core group, along with Trenton Central’s standout trio, will be among the top contenders looking to bring home state titles.
