The Colts dominated from start to finish, amassing 309.5 points and proving why they are the best in the Shore Conference.
CBA Claims District 21 Crown with Nine Champions
Christian Brothers Academy put on a dominant display at the District 21 Wrestling Tournament, racking up 309.5 points and crowning nine individual champions to claim the team title in their home gym. The Colts left no doubt about their standing as the top team in the district, outpacing Colts Neck (134.5) and Jackson Memorial (133), who battled for second place.
Colts Cruise to Victory
From the opening round to the finals, CBA controlled the tournament with a deep and talented lineup. Nine Colts stood atop the podium by the end of the night: Paul Kenny (120), Teag Saito (126), Bobby Duffy (132), Randy Jenks (138), Will Sakoutis (144), Brendan Boyer (157), AJ Falcone (165), Tyler Palumbo (215), and Jacob Howland (Hwt). Their depth was further highlighted by multiple additional placers, solidifying their dominance in the district.
Returning champions Bobby Duffy and AJ Falcone each secured their second district titles, while Will Sakoutis, Brendan Boyer, Tyler Palumbo, Paul Kenny, Brock Oizerowitz, and Jacob Howland added to their career accolades.
